For the fans of Draaimolen, Dekmantel and Freaky Dancing: a special club night with a unique live A/V spectacle
Het Complot returns to de Helling on November 23rd, for a very special edition that will tingle all your senses! We cannot be more happy to present our unique
program filled with electro, bass, techno and a visual art installation that will blow your mind.
For this event we have an audiovisual spectacle from Alberta Balsam and Timaeus , called ‘One Way Trip to Gaia’. This live A/V show combines live music from Alberta Balsam with a visual art installation from Timaeus. In this sci-fi fairytale, they invite you into a futuristic alternative reality. Intertwining electro, breaks, ambient, and pop. Center stage is a gigantic inflatable, reminiscent of a spaceship, or a womb, from which all kinds of creatures emerge. It’s the point from which Timaeus’ visuals originate, transporting you to a different reality where alien biology and symbiotic relationships suggest new ways of living together.
After this concert meets club, meets alien danceparty, we have none other than French II taking over. After a summer full of legendary shows at Lowlands, Wildeburg and Draaimolen, French II is on full force. In his DJ-sets you will hear a lot of breaks, bass and oddball techno with a lot of own productions that have that signature moody and sub heavy French II touch. We can highly recommend to take a deep dive in what he has released on his affiliated label Intercept, so you can easy your wait until the 23rd of November.
On closing duties we have our dear friend Pelgrim who will release every last bit of energy that’s left, with his bass focused sound. From personal experience we can say his secret vault of unreleased tracks that he produced himself is an absolute gem. In his hometown Tilburg he is a staple dj for many events, but in Utrecht you might not have seen him yet. Listen to one of his Kiosk, Operator or Radio Radio shows to already get a glimpse of the good stuff.
To support this musical journey we have Complot residents Cal and Evi opening the night to carefully warm you up for the big A/V show. Expect a journey of slowly building soundscapes, breaks and kicks to get everybody in the right mood.

Handig om te weten
Onze concerten zijn voor alle leeftijden toegankelijk, t/m 14 jaar adviseren we wel om samen met een volwassene te komen. Voor clubnachten geldt een minimumleeftijd van 18 jaar tenzij anders vermeld.
De Helling is PIN-Only. Dit betekent dat wij bij de kassa, bar en garderobe geen contant geld kunnen aannemen. Neem dus je pinpas of creditcard mee. De garderobe is verplicht voor grote tassen en jassen en kost €2,- per item.
Ben je verhinderd en kan je niet meer naar een concert of clubnacht in De Helling? Dan raden we je aan je ticket via TicketSwap te verkopen. TicketSwap is een officiële partner van De Helling en daarmee het enige veilige platform wat wij ondersteunen in het doorverkopen van kaarten. De tickets welke via TicketSwap worden verhandeld worden automatisch gecheckt in onze database en voorzien van een nieuwe barcode. Zo ben je zeker van een geldig ticket. Veel plezier!
We werken doorgaans met staanplaatsen. Indien je slecht ter been bent kun je altijd bij een van onze personeelsleden vragen om een barkruk, zodat je toch van het concert kan genieten. Ook is De Helling is rolstoeltoegankelijk, maar helaas (nog) niet via de hoofdingang. Wanneer je De Helling wilt bezoeken als rolstoelgebruiker, maken we een zijdeur open welke rolstoeltoegankelijk is. Eenmaal binnen is De Helling volledig gelijkvloers en is er een rolstoeltoegankelijk (gehandicapten) toilet.
